Amateur Radio VideosHere's one of those web sites that you visit from time to time that has no real value other than you waste your time with the amateur radio related videos we have accumulated from the YouTube™ web site. We have pretty much everything online, from the funny ham videos on up how to do it videos for the ham satellites. Along the way we hope to not only entertain the amateur radio operators who visit us but to educate others about the positive aspects of ham radio operators.
Although most of us think of YouTube™ as only a place for videos such as the famous "SMS vs Morse Code" video where two young guys using text messaging try to race against two veteran CW operators (video link). Or there are are the humorous videos such as "Neighbourhood Dispute Over a Ham Radio Long Wire" (video link). On the more serious and practical side we will locate and post "how to" videos dealing with such subject as making your first QSO on one of the many amateur radio satellites in orbit. One section we are sure will be a favorite is the DXpedition sections, where we are able to see these ham radio teams take on the distance and weather to provide that rare new DX country to the rest of the amateur radio community. Along the way we hope to tickle the funny bone of the amateur radio community while making a resource available for non-hams to see just what this exciting hobby is all about.
